Staying off property verses staying on Disney property
Sure, it is fun to stay on Disney property and be immersed in the entire Disney experience. You can experience extra magic hours, swim in the public pool or share the spa with 10 other strangers, leave your car behind and take Disney transportation and eat at the quick service establishments at your hotel. Everyone should do this at least once, so they have something to compare to when they do stay off property. But behind the magic of staying at a Disney report is the things not often mentioned. Extra magic hours are generally 8 am to 9 am or 12 am – 2 am (summer) or 9 pm – 11pm (winter) but maybe your family isn’t early riser or night owls. If you drive or rent a car and stay at a Disney resort you now have to pay a fee up to $25 a day to have your car on property. And while eating at a quick service resort restaurant can be convenient if you wish to eat when everyone else does you will fight long lines for food and struggle to find a place to sit. Oh, and not to mention the noise especially if there are lots of sports teams eating at the same time.
Staying off property in a private villa won’t allow you to take advantage of extra magic hours but it will allow you to swim in your own private heated pool and spa, park for free in your own driveway, prepare your own healthy meals in the kitchen or eat out at a local restaurant that caters to local residents rather than fellow tourists for less than what it cost to dine at Disney, or watch the big game or TV program you just gotta see while the kids are in the next room playing video games or enjoying the game room or swimming in the private pool. At the end of a long day at the parks you can settle in with a glass of wine or a cold one in the spa and soak your aches and pains away.
Staying at Lakeview Villa offers you that chance to get away from the hustle of Disney and relax as a family without being cramped in a single room. Check for available dates and book your family vacation today.
