We are a family of 4 where 3 of us still live in Maryland. We went to Disney in 2000 and have been going almost every year since. We always went during Spring Break and stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Both our daughters know Disney very well and enjoying going to the parks. Our oldest daughter was accepted in the Disney College Program as a Safari driver at Animal Kingdom and loved the job so much she stayed in Florida to continue to work for Disney full time.
With our daughter now living in Florida we had an excuse to visit Florida and go to the Disney Parks and Universal more often. Needless to say this became expensive visiting 3 to 4 times a year and staying at a Disney Resort so we had to find a way to continue to visit more often and save money. The area around Disney has the most vacation rentals of any destination in the world so we start to look around. For what we typically paid visiting 3 to 4 times a year buying a vacation rental would offset that cost for something we owned.
We found our villa a little west and north of where the majority of the vacation rentals are located off Rt 192 but we are just as close to Disney (we take a back way into Disney) and shopping in a quiet neighborhood that has a lake view.
We love coming to Florida to visit now to enjoy the theme parks, the beach on either coast, the weather (especially when it’s cold in Maryland) and to relax in the Lanai overlooking the lake.
We hope you come stay at Lakeview Villa and enjoy it as much as we do.
